First weekend away

I've had my first weekend away with my mummy & daddy! They took me Durham! I wasn't sure where we were going at first, & it was a long drive, but I slept for most of it. When we got there we went for a walk up this long street. It took ages cos everyone wanted to say hello to me! I was more than happy to oblige! The staff in Waterstones bookshop wanted me to stay there while mummy & daddy went off, but mummy said no way!! When we got to the top of the hill there was a large Cathedral. Apparently mummy & daddy go there regularly.

We then went to our hotel - they loved me there too!!
I liked our room, it was great fun! I met some lovely people while I was there. First there was Uncle Kevin and Auntie Dorothy. They came for a meal. Then on Saturday we went to see Uncle Peter and Auntie Vickie. I was supposed to meet their puppy, but he was poorly was in doggie hospital. I tried to behave, but I had a couple of accidents in my excitement!! I had a lovely time though!
So this was to be a trial run, because mummy said they are taking me on a proper holiday soon! That should be fun!
What else has happened? Oh yes I have started puppy training! It's actually fun! I have made friends with some of the puppies, they didn't attack me or bite me, we just play together! I have learned some new commands too. I struggle with some of them, but I'll learn. I've a few more weeks yet, but I'm trying to be good and learn!
I do have a confession to make! I ate my bed, so mummy & daddy had to buy me a new one. It's really nice though & a bit bigger.
Its so comfy! Must try not to eat this one!
I had a really fun day yesterday, I had a play date with Coco, my Auntie Hayley and Uncle Grahams chi! Coco didn't seem to want to play with me much, but I had a great time and can't wait to see her again! Here are some photos of the day.

I had my first doggie Easter Egg on Easter day, it was yummy! I wasn't allowed to eat it all in one day, but it was worth the wait!
I've also been a little naughty, I think it's all been part of growing up - at least that's what I'm telling everyone!! I've learned to jump a little, so I now like to visit the fish!! But I'm not allowed, but I do it anyway! hehe ........
Well that's it for this time. I have another playdate next week with Stan - he's a French bulldog. Then a holiday, so there should be plenty to talk about next time!!
