New life in Doncaster

27/12/17 - first few days.

Well I have been in my new home for 4 days now.  It all started on the 23rd.  There I was minding my own business, playing with my doggie mummy & daddy, when there was a knock at the door.  In walked my mummy & daddy (decided I'd better drop the word new now!)  I was quite excited to see them, & got cuddles - as did my doggie mummy & daddy.  Then the next thing I knew I was in a car on my mummy's knee!!

I was a bit scared if I'm honest, I didn't know what was happening, even though mummy was explaining to me that I was going to a new home.  So I'm afraid I wee'd on her!  It was a bit stinky too!!  I also cried a little bit, cos I was scared.  But after a while, I realised there was nothing to be scared of & I fell asleep.

When we got to my new home, there a play pen for me, & lots of toys, & it was really quiet!  I was shattered after a long journey though.  All was fine when suddenly 3  two legs appeared, who were my Auntie Tracey, Uncle Keith, & cousin Katie.  Apparently they came to see me!  Not long after that my Auntie Liz appeared & then My Auntie Hayley, Uncle Graham and cousin Seth came too!! It was a right house full & sparkles were flowing & food was eaten & I had lot & lots of cuddles!!

Christmas Eve was a quiet day, I tried to be good & didn't wake mummy & daddy up until just before 5.00, but when I woke I was a little confused & started to cry.  Mummy got up with me & we had a little play & then I went to sleep again.  I felt a lot more settled today.

Christmas morning was quite exciting, mummy even woke me up at 6.00 - think she was excited too!!! There was lots of pressie opening & then I got to open my own presents - mummy really had told Santa that I'd moved, so he knew where I was!!

 So this is me opening my pressies and playing with them all.  It was such fun.  I have to say though I did find it exhausting & was ready for a snoozle afterwards

I had more visitors in the afternoon!  Auntie Diane who lives next door came to see me & she brought her sister & brother-in-law, & mum!!  I'm a popular little pup!!

Boxing day started fine, I slept till 6.30 again, mummy was really pleased with me!!!  I spent the day playing with my new toys and generally having fun ......... the it happened.  Daddy bathed me!  I mean, how sneaky!!!  They said I was a bit smelly!  I only needed a spray of fabreeze & I would have been fine, but no .........

I have to say the getting dried was nice, & I did like the smell, but, I wasn't pleased with daddy!!!

This is me telling daddy off for bathing me.  I was only having a bit of fun, but it actually helped to dry me off!!!

Well after yesterdays bath, I presumed today would be a quiet day.  Mummy woke me up again, which was fine, & we went downstairs & had a play & then a snuggle.  I still keep forgetting to use my puppy pads, but I am trying hard & I get a treat when I do, I really must remember that!!

I got taken to the vet!!  How could they?  Mummy & daddy say its so they can take me out, but really is it worth it?  They say it is.  The vet was really nice at first, she gave me cuddles & a check up, then she said my anal glands were full & started to empty them!  I won't lie, I really squealed!  It hurt!  If that wasn't enough she then stuck a needle in me!  I squealed even more, it really hurt!  I'm 10 weeks old!  that seemed so unfair!  I'm sure I heard them book me in again - I really hope not!

We then went to Pet's at Home, that was much better, lots of snuggles & a huge bag of puppy pads bought - I will try to use them better!!

Well I think that's it for now.  I know I'm going to visit my Auntie Val tomorrow in Birmingham, so that should be fun!
